Castle Valley House
On this project I came in toward the end to finish up some punch list items far a dearly departed friend named Kathryn Miller. This was a dream home for her which was already quite artistic in it’s details. I wanted to honor that with choices that supported the established aesthetic. Items on my list were counter top backsplash and window sill, bathroom vanity, center kitchen island, utility hookups, exterior plastering of the straw bale structure, and some exterior landscaping among others. The base cabinetry was made by a craftsman in Moab Utah, and I was responsible for the design, material choices, and installations.
